09:25 AM EDT, 10/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Natural gas edged higher early Tuesday as forecasts see warm temperatures continuing to offer some late-season heating demand.
Gas for November delivery was last seen up US$0.01 to $3.37 per million British thermal units.
Long-term forecasts from the National Weather Service expect most states east of the Rocky Mountains to have warmer than seasonal temperatures over its six to 14 day outlook, offering a moderate boost to demand as highs will not approach mid-summer heat.
Rising export demand is also offering support to the fuel, with the Plaquemines LNG plant in Louisiana expands its capacity and other facilities return from maintenance outages.
