05:50 PM EST, 02/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage ( NGVC ) reported fiscal Q1 earnings late Thursday of $0.43 per diluted share, up from $0.34 a year earlier.

One analyst polled by FactSet expected $0.40.

Net sales for the quarter that ended Dec. 31 was $330.2 million, up from $301.8 million a year earlier.

One analyst surveyed by FactSet expected $328.3 million.

The company now expects fiscal 2025 earnings of $1.57 to $1.65 per diluted share, versus its prior outlook of $1.52 to $1.60. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $1.70.

The company kept its quarterly dividend at $0.12 a share, payable March 19 to holders on March 3.

Shares traded 2% higher in after-hours activity.
