10:08 AM EDT, 08/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Natural Resource Partners ( NRP ) shares were up 3% in recent Wednesday trading after the company reported its Q2 results.

The company reported Q2 net income Wednesday of $2.29 per diluted common unit, down from $2.49 a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $65.5 million, down from $91.3 million a year earlier.

Analysts estimates weren't available.

The company said it declared a cash distribution of $0.75 per common unit, payable Aug. 27 to unitholders on Aug. 20.
