NatWest's Q1 Earnings, Revenue Fall

07:20 AM EDT, 04/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NatWest Group ( NWG ) reported Q1 earnings Friday of 10.4 pence per diluted share, down from 13.2 pence a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected 10 pence.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31, expressed as the sum of net interest income and noninterest income was 3.48 billion pounds, compared with 3.88 billion pounds a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected 3.36 billion pounds.

The company's shares were up nearly 4.9% in recent Friday premarket activity.
