10:52 AM EST, 11/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nauticus Robotics ( KITT ) said Tuesday it has completed its initial 2024 Gulf of Mexico survey scope for Shell Exploration and Production, a subsidiary of Shell (SHEL).

The project, part of a service contract awarded in 2023, included surveying both inactive and active assets off the Louisiana coast through autonomous untethered operations at depths of up to 1,000 meters.

A thorough analysis of the results is currently in progress, the company said.
