04:50 PM EDT, 08/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Navient ( NAVI ) said Tuesday it agreed to sell its healthcare services business to CorroHealth for $365 million in cash.

As of June 30, the book value of the business was $136 million, Navient ( NAVI ) said.

The deal is slated to close by the end of September, Navient ( NAVI ) said.

Navient ( NAVI ) said it's "in active discussions" about the potential sale of its government services businesses.

The book value of the government services business as of June 30 was $192 million, the company said.

Navient ( NAVI ) shares jumped 8.2% in after-hours trading.
