12:57 PM EST, 11/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nelnet ( NNI ) shares rose 3.5% in recent Friday trading, a day after the company posted Q3 results that beat analyst expectations.

Adjusted net income rose to $2.95 per diluted share from $0.34 a year earlier, the company said Thursday.

One analyst surveyed by FactSet expected $1.52.

Revenue in the three months ended Sept. 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total other income, rose to $427.8 million from $338.5 million a year earlier.

One analyst polled by FactSet expected $371.8 million, if applicable.

The company raised its quarterly dividend by 3 cents to $0.33 per share, payable Dec. 15 to holders of record Dec. 1.
