June 11 (Reuters) - Nelson Peltz's Trian Fund Management
has amassed a significant stake in British pest-control firm
Rentokil Initial ( RTO ), Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday,
citing people familiar with the matter.
The activist investor is now among the top 10 shareholders
in Rentokil, which was reached out to discuss strategies, the
report added.
Trian Fund Management and Rentokil Initial ( RTO ) did not
immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment on the
report.
The fund management ended its boardroom battle with media
giant Walt Disney ( DIS ) by dissolving its entire stake and it
also cut its stake in London-listed plumbing equipment Ferguson
.
Rentokil agreed to buy Terminix in 2021, helping the British
company build scale and create a global pest control services
giant for both offices and homes.
