04:44 PM EST, 11/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NetApp ( NTAP ) late Thursday reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP net income of $1.87 per diluted share compared with $1.58 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.78, excluding certain items.
Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 25 was $1.66 billion, compared with $1.56 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $1.65 billion.
For Q3, NetApp ( NTAP ) is projecting non-GAAP EPS in a range of $1.85 to $1.95 on revenue of $1.61 billion to $1.76 billion. Analysts are looking for $1.85 and $1.68 billion, respectively.
For 2025, the company is projecting non-GAAP EPS of $7.20 to $7.40 on revenue of $6.54 billion to $6.74 billion. Analysts are looking for $7.11 and $6.60 billion, respectively.
The company also kept its cash dividend of $0.52 per share, payable Jan. 22 to shareholders of record on Jan. 3.
Shares were nearly 5% up in after-hours activity.
