08:56 AM EDT, 04/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NetApp ( NTAP ) and Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud said Wednesday they are adding new capabilities for the Google Cloud NetApp Volumes file storage service to enhance performance for cloud storage workloads.

One of the new features is the integration with Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform to enable customers to build custom agents without building their own tools to manage data pipelines for retrieval augmented generation applications, the companies said.

NetApp ( NTAP ) shares were 1% lower in recent trading, while Alphabet was off 0.3%.
