10:54 AM EDT, 10/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Netflix's ( NFLX ) goal of doubling ad revenue in 2025 is "entirely achievable," Wedbush analysts said Wednesday, adding that they expect ad revenue to become the company's main revenue driver starting next year.
The investment firm said Netflix ( NFLX ) is delivering "phenomenal results" as its subscriber growth continues. The analysts said that Netflix ( NFLX ) has stopped reporting subscriber additions as well as revenue per member metrics, but Wedbush's survey results, data, and other sources indicate the company is still seeing an increase in subscriber figures, as its customers are absorbing "price increases with little resistance."
Meanwhile, the company's advertising engine is also "beginning to hum," the note said, adding that Netflix ( NFLX ) is boosting its ads business by "expanding partnerships, improving targeting, and adding more live content."
The analysts also see some "upside potential" to the company's 2025 outlook amid its $18 billion in content spend for movies, serial content, games, and live events.
The streaming company is due to report Q3 results after the close on Tuesday.
Wedbush reiterated its outperform rating on Netflix ( NFLX ) and maintained a $1,500 price target.
