09:23 AM EDT, 08/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Netflix's ( NFLX ) "KPop Demon Hunters" topped the North American box office this weekend with ticket sales of about $18 million, according to multiple media reports.

The animated musical had estimated ticket sales of $16 million to $18 million, the Associated Press said, citing rival studios.

The AP and other outlets said the streaming company doesn't report ticket sales.

Netflix ( NFLX ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
