05:28 PM EDT, 09/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Netgear ( NTGR ) said Wednesday it now expects fiscal Q3 net revenue of $170 million to $180 million, compared with its previous projection of between $160 million and $175 million.

A single analyst polled by Capital IQ expects $167.2 million.

The company said the upgraded outlook is driven by an earlier-than-projected launch of its latest 5G mobile hotspot, according to a regulatory filing.

Netgear ( NTGR ) shares were up more than 27% in after-hours activity.
