09:28 AM EDT, 04/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NeuroMetrix ( NURO ) said Friday that, following feedback from shareholder Ephraim Fields of Echo Lake Capital, its board has authorized the appointment of Joshua Horowitz as an independent director and terminated an at-the-market equity facility.

Horowitz has served since January 2012 as a portfolio manager with Palm Management, NeuroMetrix ( NURO ) said.

The company also said it ended an at-the-market equity facility it entered into with Ladenburg Thalmann in October 2021.

NeuroMetrix ( NURO ) shares were rising past 11% in recent premarket activity.
