11:28 AM EST, 02/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nevada King Gold ( NKGFF ) on Wednesday said drilling from the recently completed Phase II drill program at its Atlanta Gold Mine Project in Nevada showed widespread mineralization.
The company said best results included 2.72 grams per tonne of gold over 64 meters, including a high-grade zone of 4.29g/t gold over 29 meters, on the east side of the West Atlanta Fault.
Drillholes AT24WS-67 and AT24WS-70 located about 350-meters north-northwest of the Atlanta Pit in an area devoid of historical drilling showed an abrupt westward increase in grade and thickness when compared to historical holes in this area and demonstrated that mineralization continues westward.
Cal Herron, Exploration Manager of Nevada King, stated, "Nevada King's exploration drilling along sections 16-19 reveal the existence of substantially thicker and higher-grade mineralization within this portion of the target zone than previously recognized."
Shares of the company were last seen down $0.02, or 6.9%, to $0.27 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
