11:20 AM EDT, 06/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NevGold ( NAUFF ) was at last look on Thursday up 2.4% after reporting it identified high-grade copper, gold, and silver mineralization at surface at the newly staked Zeus Copper Project in the Hercules Copper District of southwestern Idaho.
The positive sampling results highlight the significant copper porphyry potential at Zeus, the company said.
Among the highlights from the assays, ZRS-07 returned 1.22% copper, 8.19 g/t gold, and 21.9 g/t silver; ZRS-07 returned 1.22% copper, 8.19 g/t gold, and 21.9 g/t silver; and ZRS-03 returned 0.91% copper, 0.22 g/t gold, 20.0 g/t silver.
"The initial results from sampling completed at Zeus have yielded exceptional results, further validating the copper porphyry potential at the Project . The initial samples were taken as our Team was completing the project claim staking and the results," chief executive Brandon Bonifacio said in a release.
The company's shares were last seen up $0.01 to $0.42 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
