07:53 AM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- New Era Helium ( NEHC ) said Thursday that Texas Critical Data Centers, its joint venture with Sharon AI, is in advanced talks with large enterprise clients to anchor a planned high-performance computing infrastructure project in Ector County, Texas.

The company said while no binding agreements have been signed, Texas Critical Data Centers is working to align its AI infrastructure strategy with large-scale computing needs.

New Era Helium ( NEHC ) said it is also pursuing nearby land to scale its data center campus to create a major digital infrastructure hub in the Permian Basin by leveraging local energy resources.

Separately, New Era Helium ( NEHC ) said it is finalizing the appointment of three new board members with backgrounds in energy, infrastructure, and digital innovation to strengthen governance and support long-term growth.

Shares of the company climbed by more than 140% in premarket trading.
