New Fortress Completes $1.5 Billion Exchange of Senior Secured Notes

10:33 AM EST, 12/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- New Fortress Energy ( NFE ) said Monday it completed the private exchange of $1.5 billion of new senior secured notes for over two-thirds of its outstanding senior secured notes due 2026 and 2029.

The company said the deal is the final step of issuing $2.7 billion of new senior secured notes due 2029, which will trade as a single class.

Shares of New Fortress Energy ( NFE ) were up 4.2% in recent trading.
