10:17 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- New Fortress Energy ( NFE ) said Tuesday that it priced its underwritten public offering of about 46.3 million class A common shares at $8.63 per share.

The company said its chief executive officer, Wesley R. Edens, has agreed to purchase about 5.8 million class A shares under the offering.

New Fortress Energy ( NFE ) expects to close the offering on Wednesday and said proceeds will be used for general working capital.

New Fortress Energy ( NFE ) shares were up more than 21% in recent trading.
