06:09 AM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- New Found Gold ( NFGC ) late on Wednesday released drill results that further expand the Queensway gold project in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Highlights of the results include 42.8 grams per tonne gold over 14.95 meters, 47.6 g/t gold over 3.95 meters, and 22.9 g/t gold over 2.4 meters from the Dropkick zone.

New Found also reported a newly identified domain at Dropkick with highlight results of 5.3 g/t gold over 15.2 meters.

"The continued results from Dropkick and Pistachio, located 8 and 11 kilometers north, respectively, of the main resource area at Queensway are highly encouraging and point to the potential for future near-surface resource expansion along the strike of this prolific gold mineralized system," said New Found President Melissa Render.

New Found's share price at last look was 4.9% higher at US$1.28 in U.S. pre-market trading on Thursday.
