Three analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.17.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $336.1 million, down from $395.8 million a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $299.6 million.

The company said it expects fiscal 2026 net financial earnings per share of $3.03 to $3.18. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $3.12, if comparable.

Shares of New Jersey Resources ( NJR ) were down 4.2% in after-hours activity.
