New Tentative Agreement Reached Between CN And Unifor-Affiliated CNTL Drivers

02:14 PM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Canadian National Railway ( CNI ) said Tuesday it reached a tentative labor agreement for its CNTL first and last mile trucking unit with owner-operators represented by the Unifor union.

The railway said an earlier agreement, announced on Jan. 17, was rejected by the Unifor members.

This four-year agreement covers approximately 750 owner-operators under contract with CNTL in Canada until December 31, 2027.

CNR shares were last seen down C$0.35 to C$172.13 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
