09:48 AM EDT, 05/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The New York Times ( NYT ) and Amazon ( AMZN ) said Thursday they have reached a multi-year licensing agreement that will bring the newspaper's editorial content to a host of Amazon ( AMZN ) products and services.

Under the new agreement, Amazon ( AMZN ) is licensing editorial content from The New York Times ( NYT ), NYT Cooking and The Athletic for AI-related uses, the companies said.

Shares of the New York Times ( NYT ) and Amazon ( AMZN ) were up 1.7% and 1%, respectively, in recent early trading.
