New Zealand Energy Upsizes Private Placement to $5 Million, Announces Board Member Appointment; NZ Gained 5.5% on Thursday

08:21 AM EDT, 04/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- New Zealand Energy Corp. ( NZERF ) , which gained 5.5% yesterday, has increased the size of its non-brokered private placement offering from $4.5 million to $5 million, subject to TSXV approval.

Charlestown Energy Partners, LLC intends to subscribe for 2 million shares. Charlestown Energy is a private investment vehicle associated with a family office in New York.

The company will appoint Robert Bose, Managing Member of Charlestown Energy, as a director of NZEC upon the closing of Charlestown's investment. Bose is the CEO and a board member of Sintana Energy Inc. ( SEUSF ), (SEI.V). He is also a board member of Black Bayou Energy Hub, the developer of an underground, salt dome-based gas storage facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
