07:35 AM EDT, 05/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Newcore Gold ( NCAUF ) reported Tuesday additional drill results from the 35,000-meter drill program at its Enchi gold project in Ghana.

Highlights include 4.41 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 24.0 meters, including a higher-grade interval of 9.08 g/t gold over 10.0 meters.

"The results from the drill program underway at Enchi continue to highlight the strong continuity of mineralization as well as the potential for resource growth," said Luke Alexander, president and CEO of Newcore. "These additional shallow high-grade intercepts continue to highlight the opportunity for meaningful resource growth at depth."

Newcore plans to complete a mineral resource update and a pre-feasibility study in the first half of 2026.

Newcore's share price closed 3.4% higher on Friday to $0.61 on the TSXV.
