NewMarket to Acquire Mars TopCo
Sep 17, 2025 7:52 AM

08:24 AM EDT, 09/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NewMarket (NEU) said Wednesday it agreed to acquire Calca Solutions' parent company, Mars TopCo.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Calca, currently a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, manufactures mission critical chemicals used for in-space propulsion by satellites, space probes and other space vehicles, NewMarket said.

The company said it expects to use available cash and borrowings under its revolving credit facility to fund the acquisition, which is anticipated to close this year. Closing of the deal is subject to various conditions, including antitrust clearance, NewMarket said.
