05:50 PM EDT, 07/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Newmont ( NEM ) said late Monday Karyn Ovelmen, its executive vice president and chief financial officer, has resigned from her role on July 11.

The firm said the resignation was not due to any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to operations, financial statements or accounting policies or practices or disclosures.

Peter Wexler, chief legal officer, will serve as interim CFO until a permanent successor is selected, the company said, adding that Wexler will also continue to act as chief legal officer.
