06:28 AM EDT, 05/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Newmont ( NEM ) late on Friday said it reduced its stake in Discovery Silver ( DSVSF ) to 8.6% from 15%.

Newmont ( NEM ) subsidiary Goldcorp sold 50.5 million common shares for about $124.1 million, or $2.457 per share, through the facilities of the TSX. Following the sale, Newmont ( NEM ) holds around 79.2 million Discovery Silver ( DSVSF ) common shares.

Newmont's ( NEM ) share price at last look fell 5.3% to US$51.10 in U.S. pre-market trading on Monday. Discovery Silver ( DSVSF ) closed at $2.75 on Friday.
