09:04 AM EDT, 09/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Newmont ( NEM ) said Friday that it completed the sale of its 13.3% stake in Orla Mining ( ORLA ) for US$439 million in proceeds.

Newmont ( NEM ) said it divested 43 million shares through TSX facilities at $10.14 each.

The gold miner said the sale is part of its commitment to streamline its equity portfolio and unlock significant cash to support the company's capital allocation.

"While this marks the end of our ownership in Orla, we are confident in their continued ability to drive value for shareholders," Newmont ( NEM ) chief executive officer Tom Palmer said.
