Newmont Subsidiary Cuts Stake in Star Diamond to About 10%

06:00 AM EST, 12/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Newmont ( NEM ) late on Thursday said its subsidiary Newmont Canada FN Holdings ULC sold 9.5 million common shares of Star Diamond ( SHGDF ) in a private placement transaction for $190,000, or $0.02 per share.

The sale pushed Newmont's ( NEM ) stake in Star Diamond ( SHGDF ) down to 9.9% from 11.5%.
