07:47 AM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Newport Exploration ( NWXPF ) overnight Tuesday reported the receipt of its after tax 2.5% Gross Overriding Royalty payment from Australia-listed Beach Energy for the May to July 2025 quarter. It said gross royalty income for the quarter was A$635,069, adding the A$444,550 payment received by Newport is net of 30% Australian withholding tax (A$190,519).

Newport said it has approximately C$2.8 million in its Treasury, comprised of cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments, and has no debt.
