Newport Exploration Receives After-Tax Royalty Payment for Latest Quarter

05:07 PM EDT, 06/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Newport Exploration ( NWXPF ) after trade Monday said it received its after-tax 2.5% gross overriding royalty payment from Australia's Beach Energy for the February to April quarter.

The total royalty income was AU$753,663, with Newport receiving AU$527,566 after a 30% Australian withholding tax, the company said.

The company currently holds about C$2.7 million in cash and short-term investments according to the statement.
