News Corp. Fiscal Q4 Earnings, Revenue Rise; Options for Foxtel Group on Table

04:32 PM EDT, 08/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- News Corp. ( NWSA ) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings Thursday of $0.17 per share, up from $0.14 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.16.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $2.58 billion, up from $2.43 billion a year ago.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.50 billion.

Meanwhile, the company declared a semi-annual cash dividend of $0.10 per Class A and Class B stock, payable Oct. 9 to shareholders of record on Sept. 11.

News Corp. ( NWSA ) also said it was assessing strategic and financial options for the Foxtel Group after receiving third-party interest in the business.
