News Corp's Dow Jones Unit Acquires Dragonfly Intelligence, Oxford Analytica for $40 Million

08:31 AM EDT, 03/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- News Corp's ( NWSA ) Dow Jones unit said Monday it has closed the acquisition of Dragonfly Intelligence and Oxford Analytica from FiscalNote ( NOTE ) for $40 million.

News Corp ( NWSA ) expects to get a tax benefit of $4 million in connection with the deal, Dow Jones said.

Dragonfly, which provides geopolitical and security intelligence, and Oxford Analytica, a provider of macroeconomic and geopolitical risk analysis, will operate as part of Dow Jones Risk & Compliance, according to Dow Jones.

FiscalNote ( NOTE ) said in a separate statement Monday that net proceeds of about $27.1 million will be used to further lower its senior term debt by 30.6%.

Shares of FiscalNote ( NOTE ) were down more than 2% in recent premarket activity.
