News Corp.'s Dow Jones Unit to Acquire Dragonfly Intelligence, Oxford Analytica for $40 Million

07:50 AM EST, 02/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- News Corp. ( NWSA ) unit Dow Jones said Monday that it has agreed to acquire Dragonfly Intelligence and Oxford Analytica from FiscalNote Holdings ( NOTE ) for $40 million.

Dow Jones said the acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval in Austria and customary closing conditions, is expected to close in Q1 and that News Corp. ( NWSA ) expects to receive a $4 million tax benefit related to the deal.

Dragonfly is a provider of geopolitical and security intelligence, and Oxford Analytica provides macroeconomic and geopolitical risk analysis, the company said.

Shares of FiscalNote ( NOTE ) were up more than 6% in recent premarket activity, while News Corp. ( NWSA ) gained 1.5%.
