Senior HDFC bank exec abuses colleagues during online meeting, suspended after video goes viral

HDFC bank on Monday said that it has suspended a senior executive after a video of the employee abusing his colleagues during an online meeting went viral on social media. In the viral video, Pushpal Roy, who was the cluster head in a Kolkata branch of the private bank, was seen engaging in misconduct and screaming at his employees in Bengali.

Apple, at its annual Worldwide Developers’ Conference on Monday, announced the release of two new Mac models, the updated Mac Studio and the Mac Pro, which it claimed are the most powerful Macs ever created.

The Mac Studio, equipped with either the M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips, offers a significant boost in performance compared to previous models. IMF's Gita Gopinath warns AI risks 'substantial disruptions' in jobs markets

International Monetary Fund's (IMF) deputy managing director Gita Gopinath has warned of "substantial disruptions in labour markets" stemming from generative artificial intelligence and called on policymakers to quickly craft rules to govern the technology, the Financial Times reported on Monday.

"We need governments, we need institutions and we need policymakers to move quickly on all fronts, in terms of regulation, but also in terms of preparing for probably substantial disruptions in labour markets," Gopinath said in an interview to FT.
