BYJU'S to cut 4000-5000 jobs to get out of trouble; may finally release much awaited financial numbers in October
Edtech giant BYJU'S will file earnings for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 fiscals by this weekend or early October, sources told CNBC-TV18 on September 27.
Earlier in June, BYJU'S, which has delayed its financial statements, had told investors that it would file its audited earnings for FY22 by September and the following financial year’s results by December.
The beleaguered firm, which lost its auditor and three board members within a week in June, is in the middle of a massive restructuring process under the leadership of new India CEO Arjun Mohan.

IndiGo in constant and intense talks with Pratt & Whitney, says CEO Pieter Elbers
India's largest airline in terms of market share and fleet size, IndiGo, is in discussions with American engine maker Pratt & Whitney to resolve engine and supply chain issues. In an exclusive interaction with CNBC-TV18, Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo said, "Pratt and Whitney issue has been there for over a year. We're in talks with PW to get the supply chain issues sorted. Talks are constant and intense with PW, and we've taken mitigating measures. We've still been able to deliver capacity guidance despite the PW issue."

India Canada News Live: Jaishankar reacts to claims of shared intel on Nijjar killing — 'Not part of Five Eyes'
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on Wednesday that if Canada has something specific and relevant, India is "open to looking at it". He was speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations while responding to Canada's allegation against India in Khalistani leader's killing. He added, "The picture is not complete without the context in a way." He mentioned that Canada "has seen a lot of organized crime, relating to the secessionist forces, organized crime, violence and extremism".
Jaishankar's statement came as the diplomatic ties between India and Canada took a dramatic turn when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged that India was behind the killing of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada's Surrey on June 18.
