Adani Wind achieves certification for India's largest 5.2 MW wind turbine generator

Adani Wind, the wind energy solutions division of Adani New Industries Ltd (ANIL), on Wednesday (September 13) announced receiving certification for India's largest wind turbine generator (WTG).

The 5.2 MW turbine generator has received type certification from WindGuard GmbH, the company said in a press release.

WindGuard carried out the testing of the WTG prototype installed at Gujarat's Mundra. The certification provides international recognition to this turbine and enables Adani Wind to start series production for global markets.
