Nexa Resources Shares Rise Despite Wider Adjusted Loss, Lower Revenue in Q1

01:51 PM EDT, 05/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nexa Resources ( NEXA ) shares were up 1.1% in recent Friday trading despite weaker Q1 results.

The company reported a Q1 adjusted loss late Thursday of $0.15 per diluted share, wider than a loss of $0.01 a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.06.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $579.8 million, down from $667.3 million a year earlier.
