01:19 PM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nexstar Media Group ( NXST ) agreed to acquire WBNX-TV/TV55 from Winston Broadcasting for an undisclosed price and plans to make the television station an affiliate of The CW Network on Sept. 1.

The acquisition is expected to close in 2025, Nexstar said Monday in a statement.
