Nexstar Media, Paramount Renew Affiliation Contracts

10:25 AM EDT, 07/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nexstar Media Group ( NXST ) and Paramount Global ( PARAA ) said Tuesday that Nexstar and its Mission Broadcasting operating partner reached multi-year contracts to renew CBS Television Network affiliations in 42 markets throughout the US.

Nexstar owns 40 stations, while Mission Broadcasting owns two, the companies said.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Additionally, two Paramount-owned independent stations in Detroit and Miami will join The CW Network on Sept. 1, the companies added.
