05:12 AM EST, 11/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nexstar Media ( NXST ) said Friday that the company and Tegna ( TGNA ) received requests for additional information and documents from the US Department of Justice in connection with its review of the companies' proposed merger.

The document request extends the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act until 30 days after each party has complied, Nexstar said in a regulatory filing.

The companies expect deal to be completed by H2 2026, according to the filing.
