NextEra Energy Partners Swings to Q3 Loss, Revenue Rises; Shares Fall Pre-Bell

08:09 AM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NextEra Energy Partners ( NEP ) reported Q3 loss Wednesday of $0.43 per diluted unit, swinging from earnings of $0.57 a year earlier.

Four analysts polled by Capital IQ expected earnings of $0.56.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $319 million, up from $308 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $341.2 million.

The company's board declared a quarterly distribution of $0.9175 per common unit, payable on Nov. 14 to unitholders of record as of Nov. 6.

The company's shares fell more than 2% in recent premarket activity on Wednesday.
