NextEra Energy Partners to rename itself XPLR Infrastructure

Jan 23 (Reuters) - NextEra Energy Partners ( NEP ) will

rename itself as XPLR Infrastructure with immediate effect, the

company said on Thursday.

The company said it will begin trading under a new ticker

symbol 'XFIR' on the New York Stock Exchange from Feb. 3. It

will also have a new logo and website.

NextEra Energy Partners ( NEP ) is a limited partnership formed by

U.S. utility NextEra Energy to acquire, manage and own

contracted energy projects.

The newly rebranded firm said it will release its

fourth-quarter financial results on Jan. 28. NextEra Energy is

set to report its results on Friday.

Prior to Thursday's announcement, the two firms used to

report financial results on the same day.
