Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.97.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $7.57 billion, up from $7.17 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $8.01 billion.

The company said it continues to expect 2024 adjusted EPS to be in the range of $3.23 to $3.43. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $3.42.

Shares of the company fell 0.8% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
