04:38 PM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nextracker ( NXT ) said Monday it acquired Origami Solar in an all-cash transaction valued at about $53 million, including potential earnout payments.

The company said the deal expands its business into solar panel frames and supports a shift from aluminum to steel frames.

Nextracker ( NXT ) added that Origami's frames have been qualified by major panel makers and can replace aluminum frames without disrupting existing manufacturing lines.

Shares of Nextracker ( NXT ) were down 1% in after-hours trading.
