04:29 AM EDT, 03/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nextracker ( NXT ) has entered into an agreement with Orrcon Steel to manufacture and deliver Australian made critical components for the company's smart solar tracker, the companies said late Wednesday.

Under the deal, Orrcon will produce steel components at its mill in Brisbane for finishing by Nextracker's ( NXT ) manufacturing partner.

The companies expect to deliver the first steel components produced under the collaboration to a 480-megawatt-peak solar farm project near Gladstone.
