07:39 AM EDT, 08/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NFI Group ( NFYEF ) said Tuesday its subsidiary New Flyer of America has been named "partner of choice" in over US$338 million of competitive grant awards through the Federal Transit Administration.

The awards, which are spread over 14 agency partners, are part of the 2024 Low- or No-Emission and Buses and Bus Facilities programs. The funds remain available for use until FY2027.

NFI focuses on zero-emission mobility, with electric vehicles operating (or on order) in more than 150 cities in six countries.
