01:35 PM EDT, 07/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NFI Group ( NFYEF ) on Monday said its New Flyer of America unit won a contract from Suffolk County Transit for up to 132 buses over the next five years.

The order includes 92 Xcelsior hybrid-electric 35-foot buses and 40 Xcelsior CHARGE NG battery-electric 40-foot buses.

The order from the New York county was added to New Flyer's backlog in the first quarter of 2025.

Shares of NFI were last seen down $0.07 to $18.53 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
