NFI Wins Order From San Francisco for 42 Hybrid Transit Buses

07:53 AM EST, 03/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NFI Group ( NFYEF ) said Friday that the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) has placed an order for 42 Xcelsior hybrid transit buses.

This order meets Buy America requirements supporting manufacturing jobs in the United States and is a part of the company's fourth-quarter backlog, the statement said.

New Flyer has delivered over 700 buses to SFMTA over the last 10 years.
